The Role:
Our client is looking for a Customer Services Advisor to join their team based in their modern offices in Towcester, Northampton.
They are a small but profitable distributor of automotive fluid (coolants, lubricants and AdBlue) to the bus, truck and rail industries in the UK and Ireland.
The successful applicant will be joining a friendly established team responsible for processing sales orders and dealing with customer queries and complaints.
Key Tasks and Duties:
- Receipt & processing of customer orders onto Sage 200 system
- Daily stock takes 3 UK Warehouses
- Manage the 'Customer Telematic System'
- Dealing with customer queries & enquiries
- Processing sales returns & logging them onto the nonconformance log
- Manage customer calls daily
- Work closely with suppliers through B2B Order Processing, inc. chasing & querying orders
- Office administrative tasks as set by line manager
Customer Service Advisor - Essential experience
- Previous customer service experience essential
- Driving license with access to your own vehicle
- Microsoft office programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Working within a team
It is important that you are able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent customer service skills, including strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal with difficult customers.
- Ability to perform tasks under pressure and balance many tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload or work independently
- Friendly, approachable, confident, and cando attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability priorities for this role can change quickly
- Excellent attention to detail
