An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint two new senior clinical fellows to join our renal department starting in Jan/Feb 2024 for 12 months.
You will be part of a team providing both inpatient and outpatient care to patients with the full spectrum of kidney diseases and be able to participate in a full range of educational opportunities present within the department.

- Have completed internal medicine training
- Are making the transition from core to specialist training and seeking to consolidate knowledge and experience
- Have not previously worked in the NHS and seek an introduction to renal medicine at a higher specialty trainee level
- Completed specialist training and keen to gain additional experience in subspecialties in a worldrenowned institution
The successful applicants will rotate through:
- Acute Kidney Unit
- Acute transplant recipients,
- ITU step downs
- AKI transferred from other trusts in North Central London as part of the AKI Network.
- Dialysis (Haemodialysis and PD (Peritoneal Dialysis))
- Transplantation: acute and chronic clinics, transplant assessment clinic
- Low clearance
Opportunities will also be available to attend other clinics
- Tubular
- Stone disease
- Maternal nephrology
- Amyloid (National Amyloidosis Centre)
- Difficult hypertension
- HIV nephrology
- Uronephrology
Theywill have the opportunity to perform native and transplant renal biopsies underconsultant supervision and will be expected toparticipatein the registrar on-call and night shift rota, for which they will be paid a supplement accordingly.
