Production Supervisor

The Role

  • Planning, organising and prioritizing workload to ensure production targets are being met
  • Liaising different departments within the business
  • Supervising team of production operatives
  • Ensuring products are being completed in line with company quality specifications
  • Monitoring production costs to ensure targets are being met
  • Attend production meetings to provide update or orders and update team on any issues
  • Delegating work to team and ensure work orders are being completed
  • Assist with completion of Annual Performance Reviews with team members.
  • Assist with training of operatives to the desired standard
  • Ensure team is following company's health and safety guidelines

Essential Criteria

  • At least 2 years' experience within a similar role
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Experience in stock managing
  • Confident in working to deadlines
