We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join the Finance team as a Finance Team Lead (Transactional)
based in our urbanbubble head office right in Manchester City Centre.

You will be required to support our Residential team by being responsible for handling the day-to-day financial transactions within the company, looking after a small team of Credit Controllers and Accounts Payable Assistants.

What will you do?

  • Manage the Transactional team
  • Ensure a firstclass service is delivered to the Property Management team, Finance team and our customers/tenants/suppliers being the escalation point of contact for all AP/AR queries
  • Ensure accounts mailboxes are being addressed in a timely manner and within SLA
  • Banks reconciliation and query resolution
  • Ensure the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices
  • Ensure invoices are coded correctly
  • Perform regular supplier reconciliations and ensure any issues are resolved
  • Ensure any payment on accounts are investigated and invoices are allocated correctly
  • Ensure adherence to monthend deadlines
  • Review the payment run and ensure payments are made to agreed supplier payment terms
  • Ensure the accuracy of accounting ledgers
  • To be responsible for the billing and collection of service charges (and Ground Rent) to leaseholders in accordance with the lease provisions for each property and within ARMA-Q guidelines.
  • Ensuring customer/supplier queries / disputes are investigated and resolved quickly and efficiently
  • To provide KPI information on a regular basis, using Qube and working with third parties where necessary.

What we are looking for?

  • Experienced working in a highvolume Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable team
  • Experience of working as part of a Finance team
  • Experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Extremely organised

  • Confident and assertive, whilst tactful, manner
  • Driven to achieve results
  • Positive and can do attitude
  • Proactive approach to debt collection
  • Calmness under pressure
