Business Intelligence Analyst

London / Hybrid

Circa £55k + bonus + benefits

Business Intelligence Analyst is sought by thriving insurance group based in the City of London. You will be responsible for providing a range of analysis and insights to the (re)insurance industry. Your work will be integral to help grow client bases throughinnovative data and technology.

You will play a pivotal part in producing client work, presentations for key stakeholders and you will participate in key decision making.

You will need to be able to articulate sophisticated ideas and showcase strategic insightsfrom the commercial insurance and reinsurance world.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of financial analysis, benchmarking and insights to stakeholders of the industry
Engage and lead with clients to develop their strategic objectives and execute on deliverables and KPI's
Deliver financial and strategic reports and discover new opportunities for insights
Act as a key contact with senior level stakeholders to ensure data insights are delivered
Develop data strategies to effectively make decisions
Analyse, interpret and visualise data to deliver insights and solutions to the commercial world of insurance
Explore competitive market strategies through analysis of a related product, market, or share trends
Present findings to all levels of management

Requirements:

An engaging and inquisitive personality, always looking to solve problems and find solutions
Business acumen and intellectual curiosity
Experience in building presentations and analysing data in Microsoft Office and Power BI (preferable)
Knowledge of SQL and Python is highly advantageous
Knowledge of financial analysis is beneficial but can be taught
Confidence to work with senior management and present solutions to facilitate opportunities
Finelytuned data skills and an awareness of data quality, data integrity checking and reconciliation
Hybrid understanding of the technical industry and the insurance commercial industry to bring insight to daytoday operations
Superb attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised selfstarter, with drive and dedication; able to finish work with little supervision
