Universal Composite Doors LTD is an established composite door business supplying trade customers with high service expectations and high levels of workmanship.

Due to continued success, we are expanding and we are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking colleagues to join as a team member within one of our department's including Spray, Frames, Glazing, Hanging and QC within our manufacturing process.

Dimension of the Role
To maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the production process by observing control points and facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points to deliver a right first-time product

Principal Objectives

Close liaison with the Team Leader to ensure that the Department have clearly set and aligned production standards
Ensures that relationships within the wider Production Team are enhanced and that our activity is always driving improvement of the agreed cell targets
Ongoing development with coworkers to encourage free flowing communication to drive openness and honesty
Support regular process reviews to ensure activity is targeted at reducing costs whilst maintaining the highest industry standards

Key Priorities

Continual development of a continuous improvement culture supporting all Production Team members to actively contribute to ways of improving workflows
Effective and clear communication both internally and externally on the barriers affecting success and a robust plan to eradicate and drive positive change
Development of relationships with all UCD personnel through clear communication and regular face to face feedback
Proactive contribution in delivering all products in line with Technical compliance and quality standards

£10.50 per hour
