Artex we are hiring for an
Operations Performance Leader,
you will have 4 direct reports and working as a team, you will lead the Artex team leaders to achieve operational tasks and targets in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Ensuring all operational processes are up to date and introduce new processes when required.

What you will be doing:


  • Seeks to be a role model for own health, safety and wellbeing and promotes safe working practices across supply chain so as to cause no harm in the workplace and keep everyone safe
  • Reporting any incidents, accidents and near misses. Thoroughly investigating and implementing any containment measures as required, ensuring escalation as appropriate
  • To support and coordinate EHS custodians on site by attending the departmental EHS meetings. Providing EHS (environment, health and safety) advice and support the management teams to enable them to meet the required SG standards
  • Work closely with the Inventory controller to ensure all SKU's are counted at least once a per quarter and investigate any stock variances
  • Identifies, manages and cultivates effective relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the business to offer leadership and guidance to develop and deliver optimum delivery strategies
  • Use performance KPI's daily to drive improvements and ensure that team members are aware of performance positive or negative. Offer support, training or performance manage to ensure targets are met
  • Identify and project manage service level and cost reduction improvements with wider business including customer and cross functional / key stakeholder engagement where required

Requirements What we're looking for**:


  • Previous management position within warehousing operation in retail environment
  • Experience of handling a variety of people issues with a good understanding of HR protocols.
  • A good understanding of how all the business functions interact
  • Takes the initiative and enjoys networking with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Is passionate about listening to and developing the team so as to enable them to adopt best practice and perform to their best
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel with good knowledge of SAP
  • Warehouse Management Systems knowledge
