On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a
Sourcing Risk Partner (Data Privacy) for an initial
6 Month contract based in
Birmingham, with a
Hybrid Working Model - 2 Days per week in office.



The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Risk & Policy team, which is responsible for ensuring that Group Sourcing & Supplier Management designs, operates and maintains a robust policy and control environment in line with the bank's risk appetite.


Group Sourcing & Supplier Management are responsible for crafting and operating a robust framework for the utilization of Supplier services to the Group and you can be a key part of that through involvement with a wide range of activities.


Purpose of the Role:

Primarily focusing on
Data related risk and control management but expected to support in the management of the wider risk profile including those associated to

  • Business Sourcing Process
  • Business Change Management

As part of the Risk & Policy team, the role will provide the opportunity to:

  • Share informative, high-quality analysis, advice, and guidance in a specific area of risk, to guide execution of control, tailored to senior stakeholder requirements.
  • Identify improvements to existing business control practices.
  • Work with industry tools including RCSA (IBM OpenPages), SAP Ariba and Service Now to support in the identification of emerging risks and trends through the endtoend Sourcing and Supply Chain Management process.
  • Analyse and interpret Management Information including Key Risk Indicators & trend identification.
  • Support the management and oversight of risk activities within RCSA to achieve fully embedded status, including action plans and continuous risk management.
  • Establish and build links with internal and external partners to identify business requirements and improve efficiency, providing appropriate support and mentorship.
  • Experience in Data risk management and working within regulatory requirements.
  • An understanding of the Sourcing process/policy.
  • Experience working with RCSA framework, associated tools and methodologies used to demonstrate robust risk management.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure that we always produce high quality materials and information.
  • Work independently with key partners at all levels of seniority.
  • Able to assimilate facts and weigh against underlying risk frameworks to propose recommendations to business partners.
  • A naturally inquisitive disposition and willingness to challenge the way we work and to suggest improvements to processes, with a view of 'Keeping it Simple'.
  • Knowledge of financial services sector would be helpful.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to use initiative to identify and drive improvements within the Team.
