Position Details

Salary Range:
£24,043 - £26,500 DOE


Employment Classification:12-month contract with the potential of renewal.


Probationary Period: 6 months.


Office Location(s): Leicester or Birmingham (hybrid)

To support an ambitious growth plan, we are recruiting a Marketing Executive to join our team.

We are looking for a bright, creative, proactive and results orientated Marketing Executive with the ability to keep up with social media trends and a passion to grow our base of followers and expand our reach.


Key Responsibilities Framework - This is a framework for the role other responsibilities may be

included

  • Be responsible for the scheduling and planning of social media and newsletters across company channels.
  • Write creative social media, blogs and newsletter copy to align with campaigns and company promotions.
  • Take operational ownership of social media and newsletters, including tool management, post creation, calendar management, content creation.
  • Proactive social interaction, content creation and engagement across various social media platforms.
  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics, collate and submit performance reports.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in social media and completing regular analysis of competitors and platforms.
  • Focus on raising brand awareness on all platforms with proactive content creation for lead generation campaigns, people and culture and other initiatives to support business goals.
  • Build and use landing pages as part of marketing campaigns.
  • Schedule SEO, PPC and paid advertising.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to devise and deliver marketing campaigns.
  • Organise a calendar of marketing events, such as conferences, promotions, exhibitions, launches, workshops and/or open days.
  • Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups.
  • Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels.
  • Oversee and update the website(s).
  • Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.
  • Develop and produce the content for _enewsletters_ (in MailChimp), sponsorship brochure, annual impact reports.

General Skills

  • Attention to detail able to proof content to a high standard and consistency.
  • Liaising with other team members and providers.
  • Strong determination to succeed and work efficiently.
  • Team player mindset.
  • Passionate about helping minority owned business is desirable.
  • Commitment towards own personal and professional development.

Specialist Knowledge and Attributes:

- + 2 years work experience in similar roles.

  • Strong social media planning skills (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Reporting analysis of campaign results and analytic metrics.
  • Experience using Wordpress and MailChimp is essential.
  • Understanding of PPC campaigns is a plus.
  • SEO knowledge is desirable.
