Roles & Responsibilities

  • Advise and support clients and consultants in the delivery of hedge accounting reports, valuation statements, and all other services/products delivered as part of the business.
  • Ensure that the business is run strictly in accordance with its SOC 1 policies and procedures and be the key contact point for future SOC audits.
  • Support the invoicing process.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the development of the business. Also, work closely with other consultants in the development of strategies, setting objectives, policies and plans, including identifying and targeting potential clients.
  • Work with developers, and the treasury team, to enhance the webbased hedge valuation offering.
  • In addition to client assignments, work with the rest of the company in connection with marketing and selling the firm's services to its existing and new client base.
  • You will also as and when required assist in the day to day tasks connected with the operation of the business.

Qualified Experience Needed

  • Highly professional approach commensurate with successful presentations to financial sponsors and the senior management of operating companies.
  • Ability to understand the financial risks faced by a business in order to ensure the definition of an appropriate Hedge Advisory strategy.
  • Indepth knowledge of different types of financial derivatives.
  • Experience acquired in the banking sector would be an advantage, although corporate treasury and/or consulting experience focused on Hedge Advisory strategies is acceptable.

Part-qualified Experience Needed

  • Passion for accounting
  • Familiarity with IFRS 9 and ASC 815/820 a bonus, but not necessary
  • Selfmotivated; possessing tenacity and having perseverance;
  • Consultative style; strong listening skills, articulate. Able to communicate simply and effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a balanced open personality, straightforward in style
