Financial Accountant
Location - Clitheroe
Salary - £55,000-60,000

Simpson Judge are working with a well-established manufacturing business with a fantastic finance team based in Clitheroe, who have a temp/interim job opportunity for a Financial Accountant/Manager/Controller, in a varied role.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting CFO and wider finance team with year end and month end duties
  • Liaising with auditors and assisting with any information required
  • Group consolidations, consolidating group accounts across 5 countries ensuring accuracy
  • Managing transactions in multiple currencies including USD, EUR, Rand, Rupee and more
  • Forecasting cash positions for wider group
  • Period end close, assisting with management accounts as temp assignment continues
  • Managing intercompany transactions and consolidations
  • Assisting Financial Accountant with any year end duties required
  • Assisting wider finance team with anything required

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA part qualified accountant
  • Previous manufacturing industry experience a huge bonus
  • Foreign currency exposure
  • Able to start at short notice (i.e. currently immediately available or similar)
