Job Summary:
SKILLED JOINER - YORK
We are seeking a highly skilled Joiner to join our team on a temporary and immediate basis.
As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fitting of all supplied ironmongery to all doors on site. You will also be responsible for taking instruction on fitting supplied fixtures and fittings.
Your expertise in using power tools and hand tools will be essential in carrying out your duties effectively.
Duties:
- Take instruction from site manager and work efficiently to site programme to ensure all ironmongery items are fitted to the correct standard.
- Carry out all other joinery requirements on site
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and principles
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members

£180.00-£200.00 per day

Experience:
- Joinery: 5 years (required)
- Carpentry: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
