Key Responsibilities:


Polishing Expertise:

Execute precision polishing techniques on watch cases, bracelets, and other components using appropriate tools and equipment.

Work with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, gold, platinum, and other precious metals, ensuring the preservation of each material's unique characteristics.


Surface Inspection:

Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify imperfections, scratches, or other blemishes on watch surfaces.
Utilise magnification tools and lighting to ensure the highest level of accuracy in identifying and addressing imperfections.


Material Knowledge:


Possess a deep understanding of different watch materials and finishes, adjusting polishing methods accordingly to achieve optimal results for each material type.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials to enhance polishing techniques.


Quality Control:

Implement and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that polished watches meet the brand's specifications and customer expectations.
Document and report any deviations or issues encountered during the polishing process.


Collaboration:


Work closely with other watchmaking professionals, including technicians and assemblers, to ensure seamless integration of polished components into the overall watch assembly process.

Communicate effectively with team members to address specific requirements for each watch model.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Watch Polishing Specialist or similar role in Jewellery.
In-depth knowledge of watch materials, including various metals and finishes.
Proficiency in using polishing tools, such as lathes, brushes, and polishing compounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Knowledge of quality control processes in watchmaking.


Salary:
£28,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
