Shape A Life is searching for enthusiastic individuals to join as Cover Supervisors to support a secondary in Slough.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing cover in classrooms, offering support to individual students and small groups both within and outside the traditional classroom setting.

What We Offer:


We provide a long-term temporary contract, full-time (Monday - Friday), covering the remainder of the academic year during term-time only.

As a Cover Supervisor in our Slough school, you'll start as soon as possible with a competitive pay rate ranging from £450 to £500 per week.

What to Expect:


  • Provide cover support for teaching on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Assist in the general pastoral care of students.
  • Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
  • Actively encourage the inclusion of all students in school life and activities.
  • Support teachers in monitoring progress.
  • Assist in planning and executing learning activities.
  • Support students in their educational and social development by modelling positive behaviour and setting high expectations.
  • Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance, and integration of all pupils.

What You Need:


  • A degree with a 2:2 classification or above.
  • The ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and parents.
  • A professional, wellpresented, trustworthy, and ethical attitude.
  • A positive and motivational mindset with flexible and resourceful thinking.
