  • Have you got a passion for working with children?We are looking for a passionate and conscientious teaching assistant to work in a mainstream primary setting at Salford. You will be based in a primary classroom, providing support and guidance to all children alongside general classroom duties.
This is a full-time role ( 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM ) available as soon as possible.

You will have the chance to support students, as well as continue your own professional development.

It is a highly rewarding role, where qualifications are desired but not required We are looking for those with experience working with children and/or young people.


Responsibilities:

Ensuring pupils stay on task
Controlling behaviour in the classroom
Providing support to children on a 1-to-1 basis or in a group setting when required
Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.
