The role of a Part time cook working 10.30am to 14.30pm will include 3 hours housekeeping assistant duties.

• Liaise with the Duty Manager to order food items for the menus
• Planning menus according to a fixed budget and following guidelines on nutrition and healthy eating
• Preparing nutritious meals for a maximum of 18 persons
• Monitoring and managing supplies within a budget
• Liaising with Court Manager
• Complying with food safety legislation
• Prepare and cook fresh food from scratch using fresh produce where possible
• Provide exceptional standards in all aspects of food service, an attention to detail is vital
• Ensure all food/ meals are produced on time for restaurant and tray service.
• Ensure that the kitchen, equipment and utensils are all properly cleaned and correctly stored away.

• Excellent communication skills
• Good standards of hygiene
• Organised and methodical
• Experience of catering

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 12 per week
