We are looking for a
National Market Access Lead - Bone Diseases to join us in
our BII (British Isles and Ireland) Market Access team, based in our
Slough office in
Berkshire,
UK.



About the role


You will be responsible for delivering optimal Market Access strategies for UCB Bone disease assets by developing and executing high quality Pricing and Reimbursement strategies and HTA submissions for BII.

You will play a key part in creating an impact to enable patients to access our medicines and positively change lives.


Who you'll work with


You will report directly into the National Market Access and Pricing Lead British Isles and Ireland whilst working closely with the relevant Patient Value Unit and other key cross functional stakeholders.


What you'll do

  • Lead and develop commercially driven Market Access strategies and HTA submissions, aligning with market trends, insights and payer landscapes
  • Deliver the "best in industry" cost effectiveness models by challenging and adapting model assumptions to enable positive reimbursement status
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop Access and HTA strategies and collaborate with European and Global Teams to champion BII market specific requirements in order to deliver national access and reimbursement
  • Develop innovative access solutions for Bone disease aligning the brand strategy with clear timelines and recommendations for the commercial teams to execute plans effectively
  • Lead key external initiatives such as National HTA submissions through NICE, SMC, AWMSG and NCPE
  • Support Access solutions Lead to develop appropriate tools and tactics, providing key materials and training for Field access Managers

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following
education, experience
and
skills

  • Minimum BSc in Health economics or allied field
  • Deep understanding of HTA with proven track record in submissions as well as HTA evaluation process, value propositions, strategy and pricing
  • Bone disease or Immunology therapeutic experience preferred
  • Expert understanding of the NHS, health care systems in the UK and Ireland including the UK political and healthcare policy environment
  • Experience of developing and using innovative pricing and access strategies in launching pipeline assets
  • Strong people management experience and prior experience in directly leading a team
