Search Engineering and Manufacturing have once again partnered with a leading food manufacturing business. We are recruiting a Warehouse / Goods In Operative to join the fantastic team on site.


This is a 4 on 3 off opportunity and your future employer has a fantastic reputation for giving their people a great working environment along with a fantastic track record in progressing their staff.

Licenses preferred but not essential are as follows

  • Basic PPT License
  • FLT License
  • Flexitruck License
The main duties for the position of Warehouse Operative will consist of the following:
Receiving orders into the Warehouse and check off stock and preparing customer orders for dispatch

Relocating products using various forklifts and pump trucks in our storage system

Keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock items

Maintaining and organising the yard and acting as the final point to ensure that the quality of product leaving the business is to the highest standards

Stepping up to control of access to site in absence of the Manager

Ensuring safe manoeuvring of all vehicles on site

To assist in manufacture and packaging of product in line with standards of safety, hygiene, quality, quantity, cost and timescale

To contribute to the factory's compliance to all relevant company/site legislative policies, procedures, regulations and practices

To highlight to Supervisor any matters which may be detrimental to production and/or quality


Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment, ideally have a Forklift licence and experience use of counter balance / pump trucks, along with the ability to work within a team to achieve business goals.

Part of the role will involve record keeping and assisting with the documentation so strong MS office skills are desirable.
