Our
Logger Optimisation Team is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our main fleet of treated water flow and pressure loggers.
Currently, 60% of our supply interruptions are reported by the customer, rather than our loggers, giving our new
Systems Specialist an exciting challenge to understand how we can improve the quantity and quality of logger communications.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
In this you'll be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to drive performance improvements, through the development of efficient processes and analysis of performance data.
- Identifying and exploring new technology opportunities in data logging, including undertaking fieldbased logging and improvement activities.
- Working closely with contractors to root cause equipment failures, problem solve on site issues and audit contractor activities.
- Working with other Technical Experts and Team Managers in the business to support the development of the company logging strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To do this role at its best you'll have solid knowledge of how remote data telemetry loggers work within Severn Trent Water and the wider industry, alongside a good understanding of how our network operates and feeds into our
Outcome Delivery Incentives.
Soft skills wise you'll be a motivated self-starter, a good communicator/influencer who's able to strike up good relations with internal and external stakeholders.
