Are you a confident administrator with outstanding organisation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure? Are you able to adapt to changing situations, whilst maintaining a positive approach?
We are recruiting for an organised, assertive Team Assistant to provide general administrative support within the Chief Executive office.


Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and normally cares for around 14,000 dogs across its network of 21 rehoming centres in the UK and one in Dublin.

Dogs Trust has a non-destruction policy and will never put a healthy dog to sleep.


The administration department consists of the Chief Executive, PA to the Chief Executive, a Senior Team Administrator and the Team Assistant.

In the Team Assistant role you will provide highly efficient and responsive support to the team through a wide variety of administrative tasks.


To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a administrative role, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and concisely at all levels of the organisation, as well as externally.

You will be dealing directly with the Chief Executive, Trustees and other members of the Leadership Team on a daily basis and must be conscientious, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail and an organised and systematic approach to your work.


In addition, you will have a real 'can-do' attitude with the ability to manage a fast paced and varied workload, which can direction at short notice, whilst always remaining calm under pressure.

An interest in and commitment to the work of Dogs Trust is also essential for this role.
