We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a talented Project Coordinator to join our Translations team The role will be predominantly working from home, but we do also like to meet as a team in person from time to time so there is a requirement to attend the Leeds office a minimum of once per month and on an ad-hoc basis for meetings, training etc.


As a Project Coordinator you will:

  • Complete team and client administration tasks to a high standard
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Manage your time and workload effectively and seek support when needed
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing (add 'English' if published in countries other than UK/US)
  • Coordinate and negotiate with resources such as linguists, DTP suppliers, internal technical specialists
  • Respond to linguist and supplier queries in a timely manner
  • Adhere to processes
  • Work towards the company objectives
  • Support with preparing quotations for clients
  • Manage projects end to end
  • Plan, schedule and daytoday supervision of projects
  • Some financial responsibility including managing gross margins, supplier costs authorisation, invoicing
  • Support all other members of the team and act as a mentor for junior team members
  • Troubleshoots issues and escalate as necessary
  • Maintains and updates relevant process documentation
  • Verbal and written communication with clients
  • Attendance at internal and external meetings
  • Identify and understand client requirements
  • Understand thebigword's technology products and support with linguist and client queries
