This Finance Assistant role is a long term temporary position with the possibility of permanency thereafter. This role offers a flexible hybrid opportunity to gain new skills and develop within the finance industry.


Client Details


Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant come support two of their departments, they will be joining two small teams of friendly and supportive coworkers in their Bridgend offices.


Description
The key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant role include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation and calculation of budgets.
  • Monthly monitoring of expenditure.
  • Assisting with the closing of accounts at yearend.
  • Dealing with queries and correspondence.
  • Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of the budget management arrangements to improve the quality of information produced.
  • Administration of funds.
  • Assistance with Accounts Analysis.
  • Authorisation of invoices.
  • To provide general financial support.
  • Perform cash reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Profile

  • Immediately available
  • Have finance experience e.g. AAT or previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent ICT skills with knowledge of financial systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience of performing cash reconciliations.
  • Ability to use own initiative and problem solving skills.
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Highly numerate and accurate with an eye for detail.
