Role overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join Oldham Council.

If successful you will provide a proactive and comprehensive Executive Support Service to the Senior Management Team across the organisation.


Key responsibilities

Key Requirements
To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

  • Experience of providing secretarial/PA support to a Senior Manager/Director or similar role within an organisation and you will be entirely confident using technology. Above all, going the extra mile to deliver an impeccable level of service will be second nature to you.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral), ability to work to competing and tight deadlines and an insatiable appetite for work planning, prioritising and highly developed organisation.
  • Experience of working within a team. You must be able to work at pace with attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and switch between a number of conflicting priorities. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as playing a critical role in an important team. You will be a loyal individual who upholds a high level of confidentiality.
