Description

Our client, a specialist Income Protection insurer, are looking to hire an IT Manager to manage their internal IT infrastructure and deliver various IT projects.


You'll play a key role within the company, driving continuous improvement strategies and coordinating internal and external teams to meet the needs of the business.


Salary:
£35,000 to £40,000 pa, DOE

Office in Hove

Monday to Friday

Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship


You will be responsible for coordinating, managing and maintaining the office IT infrastructure, allowing for smooth and seamless operation, as well as leading on any IT projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing IT infrastructure
  • Driving continuous improvement strategies.
  • Managing IT projects with their offshore development team
  • Managing costs and overheads
  • Managing staff performance and development
  • Liaising with various stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Review, document and communicate standard business processes.

What we're looking for:


  • A minimum of 3 years' operational IT experience
  • Knowledge of key networking principals (LAN, WAN, Wifi etc. )
  • Previous experience working with a CRM system
  • Experience with security technologies
  • Ability to lead teams
  • A highly analytical approach

Desirable Skills:


  • Enterprise infrastructure management
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Cloud experience, ideally AWS
  • ITIL, Prince2 or similar project management experience
  • Jira and sprint cycle management
