***This is a fantastic opportunity for a
Service Manager to join a rapidly growing Supercar Showroom, taking on responsibility from day one. You will be a pivotal member of the team, booking in retail work, servicing existing and new clients, and managingthe workshop to efficiently process internal work.
Job Requirements:
- Meet and greet customers, qualify work, and identify customer's additional needs at vehicle dropoff
- Issuing jobs to the workshop staff; prioritising where necessary.
- Manage the handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles.
- Explain the work carried out on the vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation.
- Manage any necessary liaison with other department managers.
- Understand and adhere to manufacturers service requirements.
- Maintain relevant CRM systems, ensuring accuracy at all time
- Monitor customer satisfaction score and ensure that expected levels of performance are achieved
- Deal promptly and empathetically with customer complaints, ensuring effective resolutions are reached
- Ensuring parts are procured efficiently in a cost effective manner.
- Efficiently manage customer communication through repairs with timely progress updates and gaining authorisation for additional work.
- Conduct telephone activity to maximise workshop activity with MOT and service reminder calls etc.
- To discuss and upsell additional work to the customer, where appropriate.
- Carry out external inspections where necessary prior to handover to customer
- Liaising with the Customer Service department regarding vehicle handovers.
- Authorising expenditure on rectification and preparation work.
- Authorising all staff hours and overtime on a weekly basis.
- Improving efficiency within the vehicle repair workshop
As Service Manager you will have:
- Have minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role within an automotive Service department
- Proactively drive continuous improvements to processes to ensure an exceptional level of customer service is always delivered.
- Are confident in handling and resolving customer issues, dealing personally with any escalations.
- Are an excellent communicator who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders at every level of the business.
- Are passionate about developing their team and experienced in performance management.
