Job Role
To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of staff to:

Provide support to enable service users with a learning difficulty and additional needs to participate in vocational, recreational, educational and social programmes on and off site, both in a group and on a one to one basis.

To support people to travel to and from community activities, picking them up from home where necessary and escorting / driving / or using public transport.

To assess, plan implement evaluates activities undertaken with service users within a person centred planning framework.
To support individuals in personal care.

Carrying out good practice in the care and development of adults with a learning difficulty including promoting positive attitudes in regards to race, gender, sexuality and disability, age, religion and cultural beliefs.
