We have a newly created role of
Project Administrator to support our busy Technology PMO. If you work in a similar role project role now, and are looking for a new challenge and the opportunity for further development, then this could be a great move

This position offers you the opportunity to either work on a hybrid basis - splitting your week between working from home and our central support office in
Cheltenham:

  • or working fully remotely, with visits to the office for team meetings every couple of weeks.

About the role
The Project Administrator role is wide-ranging and varied, so you'll have the opportunity to be involved in:

  • Working with the Portfolio Manager to support the creation, development and establishment of the Technology Portfolio Office that sits across all Technology Programmes and Projects
  • Supporting the maintenance and enhancing development of our PPM tool and providing training where necessary
  • Providing support in the creation, development and delivery of resource management processes, financial management processes, and risk/issue dependency management processes
  • Supporting the development of Exec reports and dashboards on delivery plans and status
  • Providing administrative support to the delivery framework governance meetings including meeting set up, minutes, action logging and tracking
  • Providing quality assurance support across the Technology portfolio to ensure the delivery framework and processes are being adhered to
  • Day to day support for Project Managers with maintenance and monitoring of project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.

About you

  • Knowledge and understanding of Project Management practices and methodologies
  • Competent technology and PMO management knowledge, and ability to adapt to new skills and techniques as they emerge
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Great attention to detail with proven experience of writing high quality reports and dashboards
  • Problem solving and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to deal with challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace
