    About the Role:

    This role sits within our chilled foods site in Carlisle, employing around 1200 people across three separate factories.

    The role offers plenty of challenge and variety, with responsibilities including:

    • Leading and developing teams, ensuring departmental production and efficiency targets are achieved.
    • Supporting other Production Managers, providing cover as required and improving processes.
    • Reviewing operational trends and performance metrics, putting corrective actions in place to ensure delivery of the production plan.
    • Identifying areas of improvement within your team, training colleagues to meet their full potential.
    • Promoting a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance to all HSE standards.
