Description

Our client is looking for a stores assistant to join their family run fixings & fasteners distribution company. This is a temp-perm opportunity

This role involves some driving, working all day on your feet and includes some heavy lifting

Responsibilities:

Picking and packing
Weighing out product to the correct quantity
Packaging orders ready for delivery
Covering deliveries where needed company transit van
Keeping the warehouse tidy
Some heavy lifting.
Basic addition needed and use of a calculator.

The driving would be cover for holidays and sickness plus the occasional short trip. Mainly within 50 mile radius.

Applicants must be 30+ due to company van insurance

Working Hours:

9am-1pm Monday-Thursday OR 8:30am-1pm x3 days per week

Lunch 1pm-2pm

Please note, the client bring their dog into the office

Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
