Tradewind Manchester are supporting a two-form entry Salford based primary school in recruiting a Year 4 SEND Learning Support Assistant.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis, thisrole could become permanent, and you may be offered a school contract.


The school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in Year 4 who require small group support and 121 support.

To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupilswho require special needs developmental support; have strong interpersonal skills; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels and a clear understanding of SEND-based learning.

To join us and be successful in this SEND Learning Support Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have experience in working with special needs developmental support, in particular ASC
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
