Future Schools Trust are seeking to recruit a Governance Professional (Clerk) to provide advice to the Trustees and Local Governing Bodies (LGB) on the best practice governance models, all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and to provide effective administrative support to the board and its committees, whilst managing information effectively in accordance with legal requirements.


This position is part time, term time only, plus two additional weeks and involves physically attending schools for meetings and the flexibility for Hybrid working.

The person appointed will be required to manage and organise at least four full Governing Board meetings a year and three sub-committees, which meet at least once per term.

Meetings typically start at 5pm during term time.

In addition, the clerk will be expected to provide full clerking support throughout the year which will include the maintenance of records, completion of returns and facilitating the election of Governors when required.

£13,215.00-£14,823.00 per year
