An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading tier 2 main contractor, now looking for an experienced Senior Planner to work on one of their London centric projects.


My client currently turns over circa £600million and require this Planner to work under the guidance of a Planning Leader, both on live and tender contracts.


Brief responsibilities include:

  • Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work
  • Liaising with surveyors, engineers and architects
  • Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
  • Using project management tools to plan timeframes
  • Writing bids for tender
  • Selecting the appropriate techniques and sequence of events for a particular project
  • Monitoring progress throughout the construction process and comparing this with the projected schedule of work
  • Prepare programmes in Asta that set out the sequence and timing of project deliverables
  • Prepare preconstruction information required for land bids, tenders and new developments
  • Ability to bring new methods into the role
