About us
Established in 1881, The Royal Belfast Golf Club is a private members' club located in Craigavad, Co. Down, just outside Holywood. We are the oldest golf club in Ireland and have won numerous Parkland Golf Course of the Year accreditations.

Our beautiful Victorian clubhouse is one of the grandest in the country with three bar areas and a mix of formal and casual dining rooms.

We are extremely fortunate to have a team of long-standing staff members who consistently provide high levels of customer service to members and visitors in a happy, warm, and friendly environment.

Our clientele ranges from members and their guests, overseas visitors, golf societies and corporate golf days to business meetings, private parties, weddings and high-profile individuals.

No two days are ever the same.

The Role:

As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen and assisting the chefs in delivering a consistently high level of food service to our members and guests.

This a full-time position, 37.5 hours a week.

The role offers a flexible and rotational working schedule which will include some shifts on nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities:

Keeping the kitchen, prep areas, stores and bin areas clean and tidy at all times
Checking in deliveries in a timely manner
Stock rotation
Assisting the chefs with food prep and service as required
Attend training as required

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role preferred
Flexible approach to working unsociable hours.
Punctual, dependable, and tidy
Access to own transport an advantage

The Package:

Salary £9.00 £11.00/hr dependent on age and experience
28 days holiday increasing with service (includes statutory days)
Double time for any hours worked after midnight and on public and bank holidays.
