Location:
Fullwell Cross Library, Ilford, IG6 2EA (Office base). Plus, home working and various locations within London Borough of Redbridge.


Salary:
£25,005-£26,004 per annum based on 40 hour week


Type:
Up to 40 hours per week


The Health and Wellbeing service are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who shares our creativity, passion and commitment in supporting adults and children to develop and maintain positive physical and mental health and wellbeing.


Job requirements:


To develop, coordinate and manage wellbeing workshops, activities, programmes and events across the Health and Wellbeing team projects.

  • To support with the administration across projects, including health and safety procedures and administration tasks requiring proficiency with computerbased systems.
  • To coordinate timetables, schedules and booking systems across Health and Wellbeing programmes and projects.
  • To examine, analyse and evaluate projects on a regular basis, seeking feedback from participants and partners, ensuring recommendations are collected and quantified to allow for a high quality of service delivery which is relevant to the needs and requirements of the Borough.
  • To support with evaluation tasks, including tracking, monitoring and reporting on metrics across projects, including cost (income and expenditure), effectiveness, progress and quality.
  • To assist in promoting the brand and projects, creating content and text for social media coverage, webpage content and publications, alongside the distribution of marketing materials and press.
  • Ensuring company policies are implemented and adhered to, including customer care, equal opportunities, safeguarding and health and safety.
  • To work successfully as part of a team, or independently as the situation demands, support other team members and provide cover as required.
  • Contribute towards the company's service plan by working with colleagues to achieve service objectives.

Essential requirements:


  • GCSE English (C and above)
  • Experience of successfully planning, coordinating and managing programmes / activities / events
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online databases to support data gathering, monitoring and reporting
  • Qualification in health / wellbeing / sport / physical activity or related field (desirable)
  • Qualification in project management / event management (desirable)
