We are currently recruiting for a well-known insurance group, who have a rarely available opportunity come up to join them as a Senior Commercial Claims Handler, reporting into the Claims Director, and deputising for them when they are not in the office/on leave.

As such this is NOT a day-to-day operations management role, and so would suit a Technical Claims Handler looking to move into a more senior role.

They are keen to hear from experienced Commercial Claims professionals, who want to be part of something exciting They have big plans for this area of the business, so this is a superb time to be joining them, with lots of opportunities internally moving forward.

You will be responsible managing your own portfolio of claims as well as deputising for the Claims Director when needed.

You and your team will handle Commercial Property and Liability claims for clients across Ireland and Europe.

You will be required to deal with the daily operational management of the teams, including working out work distribution, staff holiday and sickness, and general management.

You will also be tasked with looking at the work growth agenda too, to make sure this area of the business continues its impressive growth

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 5 years commercial claims experience, with strong property and Casualty claims experience.

ECF experience is also required and would be a bonus if you already have London market experience

You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £38-48k, dependant on experience. 28 days holiday, and an extensive benefits package, are also available

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with you needing to be in the London office 1 day a week (Wednesdays) and working from home for the remainder of the week.
