Independent insurance broker based in Bradford is looking to recruit an experienced career focussed cross class Claims Handler due to company growth.

The role will involve picking up a variety of commercial claims including Property, EL/PL, Fleet, PI, D&O and Cyber.

Working on behalf a range of businesses ranging from local SME's to major corporate entities and claims of all sizes.

You will be managing claims from start to finish, effectively managing your own allocation of clients.

You will advise clients on how to make claims, log new notifications, and update all records accurately on the system.

You will liaise with Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Surveyors and internal colleagues on a daily basis, and proactively keep the client informed on the progress of the claim.

You may also be expected to attend face to face meetings with clients when required to discuss their claims account, risk improvement and mitigation.

Our client is looking for someone who has a solid cross class commercial claims background.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are the key skills for this role, along with the ability to deal with customers calmly and sympathetically and provide excellent client service.

You will be working with a friendly team with good employee engagement. Hybrid working offered usually 2 days working from home.


Salary:
£30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
