The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health.

The NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Immunisation is a partnership between the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and LSHTM, in collaboration with the University of Cambridge.


The HPRU is recruiting an epidemiologist with expertise in analysing electronic health records to co-lead Theme 1 (Making the most of real-world data) with Professor Nick Andrews at UKHSA.

This research theme aims to increase vaccine coverage and support a data-driven immunisation programme by utilising digital technologies and linked electronic health records (EHR).

The NIHR-funded post is full-time 35 hours per week but part-time arrangements will be considered. The post is fixed-term until 31 March 2025 and available from 1 February 2023.
