Sphere Solutions have the privilege of working with a leading construction company in Exeter to recruit an experienced Buyer to join their team to work closely with the procurement and commercial team on construction projects across the South West.


  • You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, taking responsibility for the procurement of all materials and plant.
  • Ensure the best price is sourced for materials and plant, in line with contract specification and site programme
  • You will manage supply chain agreements, site order lists and obtain competitive prices where agreed prices are not available to enable orders to be placed
  • Research/product information and alternative products
  • Site / measuring quantities of materials, reading drawings
  • An understanding of commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Positive outlook and cando attitude
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Good understanding of all MS packages

Salary:
£45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
