30 hours per week x 42 weeks - term time including INSET days and 3 weeks in the summer holidays (to include exam result weeks).

Monday - Friday (hours by negotiation)

St Mary's Catholic High School are looking to appoint an experienced, highly organised and competent Administration Assistant to support day to day administration in this outstanding school.

This will include working with the Sixth Form Leadership team to support the school UCAS (University and College Admissions Services) process.

Educated to GCSE level with 5 GCSEs Grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics.
Experienced in working in a busy office environment (school based would be advantageous).
Able to remain calm when under pressure and employ tact and diplomacy in difficult/sensitive situations.
Confident with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Experienced and competent in the use of IT software including Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and Word.
A team player with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Reliable, trustworthy and have an understanding of confidentiality issues.
