Production Planner - Temporary - Crewe


L & C Consulting are recruiting with a Crewe based, manufacturer for a new Production Planner / Supply Chain Planner / Purchasing Assistant.

Based in their modern facility, this position will start on a 6 month basis, but may lead to something more permanent for the right person, and will suit an experienced Production / Supply Chain / MRP / ERP Planner who is looking for a new opportunity in a supportive business.

To be considered, you'll have a good understanding of manufacturing processes within precision engineering / assembly.

Based in a small team, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Run MRP and order as required
  • Work closely with Finance, Procurement and Production
  • Scheduling in line with customer requirements based on material availability and production capacity
  • Chase orders


To be considered for this opportunity, you MUST have worked in a similar role, ideally within a bespoke assembly / manufacturing / precision engineering / electro-mechanical environment.

You'll have strong communication and organisational skills as you'll be working closely with various teams within the organisation.

You must have experience with manufacturing processes, purchasing, MRP or ERP management systems.

The site is commutable from Crewe, Whitchurch, Chester, Stoke, Wrexham, Shrewsbury etc
