Team Overview:
The Asset Management business is responsible for identifying and implementing value-add opportunities in assets under management.

You will sit within the National Business Space asset management team, responsible for the management of LaSalle's office and industrial assets across the UK outside Central London.

The team consists of 5 asset managers, split regionally, and is responsible for approximately £3bn of assets with a rent roll of £147m per annum across LaSalle's UK direct property mandates.


Role and Accountabilities:


You will be working alongside some of our Asset Managers assisting with a variety of tasks across their portfolios of industrial and office assets.


This will entail:


Learning about the key drivers of value when it comes to property as an investment and how this is measured.

Understanding how business plans and forecast returns are put together for assets across various portfolios.

Inspecting properties, meeting tenants and agents/consultants to further the initiatives in the business plan.

Understanding the process of agreeing, recommending and documenting lease transactions (lettings/lease renewals/rent reviews).

Learning about the reasoning for buying or selling properties at certain times and how these decisions are made.

Supporting the process of reporting recommendations and updates to the Fund Management team and clients.

Learning the importance of ESG initiatives play in driving commercial change and real returns.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

A keen interest in property and the changing dynamics of the sector.

Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and deliver results.


A commercial mindset and ability to think creatively when it comes to finding opportunities to create or protect the value of a property.

Strong interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively.

Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise as required to meet expectations.

Good numeracy and computer skills including MS Excel.

Adaptable team player with the ability to operate autonomously when needed.
