Leeds University Union is growing its Marketing and Communications department, creating an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that's at the forefront of using data and insight to make sure every student loves their time at Leeds.

By joining our team as a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll have the chance to be part of this exciting transformation and make a real impact on the student experience at Leeds.

This role is perfect for an artistic designer, passionate about students, inclusivity and creating eye catching but accessible designs.


About you


With experience in a design role, creating assets including print, digital, social media assets, and possibly moving image, you will have an interest in working for a charity that aims to ensure every student at the University of Leeds loves their time at university.

You will be a forward thinker, keeping track of new and upcoming design trends and software. Thinking outside the box and confident to create designs from concept to completion.


You'll need:

Proficiency in Adobe; including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Ability to work within a team

Experience working to tight deadlines

Experience creating social assets and Print assets.

Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people.
