Description

We are a small and friendly care home surrounded by landscaped grounds in Lamerton, near Tavistock.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of buildings maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, decorating & joinery skills, as these are essential requirements of the role and a cursory knowledge of such will not suffice.

You will undertake periodic testing of equipment, such as the fire alarm, emergency lighting, etc. (guidance given).

You will also be experienced in grounds maintenance/gardening works and be willing to carry out any other reasonable duties as required.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. Clean driving licence and own transport are essential due to location.

Flexible work pattern based on 9 am - 2 pm, Monday - Friday (25 hrs/week).

Due to the 24/7 nature of the business, some emergency call outs could be expected outside of working hours.
