We are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead and manage our care home in Helston, Cornwall.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-established, 'GOOD' Rated care homewhich is situated on a beach front location.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daytoday operations of the care home
  • Develop and maintain the highest standards of care
  • Manage and motivate care staff
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Recruit, train and develop staff
  • Ensure that the home is compliant with CQC regulations
  • Develop relationships with residents and their families
  • Lead and manage the budget and financial management of the home.

Technical Skills:

  • Significant experience of managing care homes
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with residents and their families
  • Good understanding of budget and financial management
