We are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead and manage our care home in Helston, Cornwall.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-established, 'GOOD' Rated care homewhich is situated on a beach front location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daytoday operations of the care home
- Develop and maintain the highest standards of care
- Manage and motivate care staff
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Recruit, train and develop staff
- Ensure that the home is compliant with CQC regulations
- Develop relationships with residents and their families
- Lead and manage the budget and financial management of the home.
Technical Skills:
- Significant experience of managing care homes
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to develop relationships with residents and their families
- Good understanding of budget and financial management
