cars4uk LTD is looking for a bookkeeper to join our team in Southampton.


Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter bank deposits, credit card authorizations, and other financial transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to bank deposits, credit card authorizations, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Communicate with customers and vendors in a professional manner at all times
• Assist with general office tasks as needed

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Previous experience in an accounting position required.
• Previous experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with others on a daily basis.
