    We are seeking an experienced Quality and Food Safety professional to lead our team in a pivotal role within the department. Our company invests in people and continuously develops its staff, encouraging and demonstrating progression.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, laboratory knowledge, and team management.

    • Ensure compliance with BRCGS and other relevant certifications is maintained.
    • Conduct internal audits and manage external audits from regulatory bodies and clients, driving continuous improvement.
    • Reduce quality failures, investigate complaints, and implement effective resolutions.
    • Lead and manage quality control processes across multiple manufacturing sites, prioritizing high levels of service and compliance.
    • Implement and monitor food safety testing programs, ensuring all products meet strict safety standards.
    • Develop and maintain effective traceability systems across the supply chain.
    • Oversee quality control and food safety procedures, driving continuous improvement in processes.
    • Provide training and support to site QC teams and food safety practices, promoting best-in-class performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive business growth.

    Experience working within food manufacturing or a laboratory is essential, as well as exposure to managing a team. Proven experience in quality management within the food manufacturing sector is advantageous.

    The successful candidate will possess knowledge of BRCGS standards and auditing processes, expertise in food testing, quality control, and traceability systems. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

    Liaising with various departments across the site, this role suits a self-motivated and engaging personality with excellent communication skills at all levels.

    The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
