-What you'll be doing
- Assist the CoW team in inspecting construction work for quality and compliance.
- Keep the communication flowing with contractors to track progress and tackle issues.
- Write up detailed reports based on your site visits and findings.
- Attend project meetings and provide support in resolving site problems and defects.
- Team up with the Development team to offer technical advice during design consultations.
- Stay updated on regulations, legislation, and new construction practices through training and CPD events.
- Manage quality oversight, identify potential problems, and recommend solutions
- Maintain records and filing systems for future reference.
- Assist in snagging inspections and handovers of new properties.
What we're looking for
- Construction experience or relevant construction qualifications.
- Knack for writing clear, concise reports that get to the heart of the matter.
- Solid understanding of construction safety and regulations.
- Sharp eye for detail, catching issues before they become big headaches.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
- Strong organisational skills and confident, effective communication.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative environments.
A full driving license is essential for this role.
