LHH Recruitment Solutions are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Oxford, due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk the AP team on a full-time permanent basis.


The role is offering a competitive salary at
£23,000p/a dependant on skills and previous experience, this is a hybrid role where you will be required to work a minimum of 2 days in the Oxford office.


About the Role


This role provides you with an opportunity to work in a friendly, dedicated team whilst taking ownership over your own part of the process and gain exposure to multiple currencies.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare invoices by batching and scanning and input through the relevant Vendor Invoice Management System
  • Process invoices through ICC Validation
  • Process manual input invoices
  • Manage invoice exception queues through VIM Workplace and EDMS, contacting staff in the business to obtain additional information where there are exceptions
  • Create and amend details in SAP following standard data input requirements
  • Seek approval for sensitive data items in SAP
  • Sort incoming post
  • Cover in areas of team member absences.

  • Knowledge and/or experience of accounts payable
Previous working experience within an accounts/finance department would be highly advantageous. Experience of working with multiple currencies and working with SAP is desirable. Please note this role does not financially support accounting related study.
