Working as part of the HR Operations team you will provide administrative support to the HR Team and wider business across the employee life cycle.
The key focus of your role will be report on all aspects of people-related data on a structured regular monthly cadence making data and metrics available to the management teams to help drive business decisions as well as ad-hoc requests as needed.
Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Collate and input relevant information into the HRIS relating to payroll on a monthly basis (i.e. new starters, leavers, contract changes, maternity/paternity/sickness absence/other absence/ annual leave).
Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers received through the HR Helpdesk, assisting with the interpretation of HR policies and procedures as governed by FAQs, templates, and guidelines for standard procedures.
Engage with key stakeholders to create and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual HR data reports
Accurately produce required HR data reports, displayed in an appropriate format and in agreed timeframes. This includes the production of recurrent and ad hoc data metrics/dashboards/reports including creating graphs and visuals.
Monitoring and auditing data.
Extract and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present as required/directed,
Support the Business Development team by providing data and reports for bids and tenders for the public and private sector in a timely manner.
Ensure quality of service and operational performance by working within HR documented processes.
Assist with HR projects.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience
You will be self-motivated (with a very supportive team) and work autonomously, while aligning with overall business goals and objectives and share working towards shared goals.
You will be a data driven and highly pro-active individual with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, with a specific focus on Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
You will have the ability to provide clear, concise relevant and accurate information in formats suitable for the audience receiving the information.
This is a high demand environment which requires keen attention to detail and focus on accuracyYou will have:
- Familiarity with HR systems
- HRIS and reporting software experience
- Intermediate level in MS Excel (for example AVERAGE, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP functions, PIVOT Tables
- Exporting, manipulating, analysing and summarizing data
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion
- Experience of involvement in new HRIS rollouts eg Workday desirable
- Dedication to maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to highly sensitive information
- Attention to detail and focus on accuracy
