Description

To offer mortgage and protection advice in a thoroughly competent and
professional manner, observing the regulatory requirements introduced by the
FCA, together with following the business Sales & Compliance procedures.
To act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence and arrange the mortgage and
protection cover for our clients.


General:

Portray a professional image, in such a manner so as to enhance the reputation of the company with both customers and introducers alike.

Ø Communicate in a professional manner, ensuring the client/s

and all other relevant parties are kept fully informed.

Ø Establish good working relationships with all Sales Advisors.

Ø Establish a professional and close working relationship with Introducers.

Ø Comply with company procedures and guidelines at all times.


Mortgage Processing:

Ø Ensure all supporting documentation has been provided.

Ø Communicate with the lender throughout the process, providing additional information if required.

Ø Check mortgage offer to ensure accuracy.

Ø Communicate regularly with solicitors through to legal completion.

Ø Maintain accurate and up to date notes commentary for compliance purposes.


Protection Processing:

Ø Set reviews by which the product provider is chased to ensure early underwriting and issuing of acceptance terms.

Ø Communicate with client/s and Medical Practitioners to ensure medical evidence is returned without delay.

Ø Communicate with the product providers throughout the process, providing additional information as and when it is requested.

Ø Check terms of acceptance and ensure protection policies are 'risked' in accordance with client/s wishes.

Ø Maintain accurate and up to date notes commentary for compliance purposes.


General Insurance Processing:

Ø Set reviews by which the product provider is chased to ensure early underwriting and issuing of acceptance terms.

Ø Communicate with product providers throughout the process providing additional information as and when it is requested.

Ø Check terms of acceptance and ensure the general insurance policies are 'risked' in accordance with client/s wishes.

Ø Maintain accurate and up to date notes commentary for compliance purposes.


Compliance Responsibilities
Ø Follow and adhere to company procedures and guidelines at all times

Ø Follow and adhere to all regulatory requirements as set out by the FCA

Ø Ensure information that comes to light which conflicts with the original information provided is brought to the attention of line management.

Treating Customers Fairly
The individual is also responsible for supporting the culture of TCF and ensuring it is embedded in the company


This involves:

• Being constantly mindful of TCF
• Ensuring processes and actions meet the 6 consumer outcomes
• Recommending improvements where appropriate
• Embracing the culture of TCF in daytoday working practice

Candidiate must be CeMAP qualified and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Mortgage Advisers role.

£24,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
